TRIBUTE WTC MUSEUM & VISITOR CENTER -
WORLD TRADE CENTER MODEL

"The beautifully crafted 8 foot tall translucent model of the Towers communicated exactly what we hoped - their quiet luminosity speaks to both loss and memory of a tragic event. Mark was a pleasure to work with. Not only is his work of the highest standard, but he was an essential team player in a complex process." -Joan Krevlin, partner, BKSK Architects

"The model is just so totally spectacular. Yesterday we had the ribbon cutting and well, our breath was taken away by the beauty of the model - it is elegant and perfect. It is just so very wonderful! Our visitors are truly taken with it! Thank you once again."
Wendy Aibel-Weiss, Director of Programs, Tribute WTC/911 Visitors Center

Lumasite material chacteristics

We chose Lumasite® for its inherent strength, durability, and beautiful luminescence. The ethereal quality of this material reflects the connection many visitors have to their memories of 9/11.

WTC tower tops and antenna

The solid aluminum antenna mast, almost 2' tall in scale, was inspired by the story of Rod Coppola, broadcast engineer at WNET/13, who lost his life on 9/11. While doing our research for the model, we found a beautiful picture of the mast he had taken just weeks before 9/11.
