Idyllic Future Cityscape

This model, along with the Fascist and Polluted Cities, show three versions of the future through architecture. Our client designed Idyllic City in AutoCAD, which we built to spec.
 

Polluted City of the Future

In the third version of the future, the same one square mile city is now horribly polluted. This model was not budgeted for in preliminary planning. Our solution - kit bash. With our input the designers avoided a severe impact on their budget.
 

Scale Egyptian Fantasy Environment

Sometimes models have to be manufactured as much as hand-crafted when there's a lot of square footage to cover. The richly-detailed and dense environment required for these models demanded that we consider both fabrication and casting processes. We are always willing to experiment with new materials and techniques and to use what we learn in innovative ways to achieve aesthetic or budgetary goals.
 

Cute Cityscape Models

This series  was built to be cartoonish but has a clean, modern appearance that would really show off the product and enhance the marketing message - soup on the run.

Miniature Log Cabin

Lavaland

Subterranean river of molten lava. The design and specs for this elaborate model consisted of one sentence of verbal instruction that told the story of a subterranean river of molten lava. From that starting point we designed and planned all aspects of construction including aesthetics, engineering, scripting, and installation.
 

Fascist Future Cityscape

A city in a country ruled by dictatorship and controlled by an evil, iron fisted police state. This model was also designed in AutoCAD, and made extensive of CNC laser machining.
 

Between Fantasy and Reality - Stylized Landscapes

A series of 5 related miniatures transported the viewer from realism to a fantasy world of stylized alienation. Designer Andrew Jackness provided one sketch per model for direction and inspiration. But then it was up to us to translate his two dimensional ideas into three dimensional models that preserved his vision.
